Abacus Japan Business Services Inc. is seeking a Bookkeeper to join their team. Full time, permanent, $25.00/per hour, 35.00 hrs/week. Monday-Fridays except tax season with occasional Weekend shifts. Extended Health Benefits are available after 3months’ of employment. Shifts maybe scheduled at either work locations: Suite #211-xyz X Susinteraction Ave Burnaby, BCV5H 4G1 and Suite #211-515 W. Pender St. Vancouver, BC V6B 6H5 Duties: • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll • Calculate fixed assets and depreciation • Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements • Post journal entries and reconcile accounts; • Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports • Prepare tax returns and perform other personal bookkeeping services; Requirements: • Completion of secondary school is required; • Completion of a college program in accounting, bookkeeping or a related field OR at least 2 years of experience in the field; • Ability to use Bookkeeping software (Sage 50) is an asset; • Strong work ethic, with a strong professional commitment to accuracy• Japanese language skills is an asset; • English language skills required; How to apply: Please do not call or apply in person Please email to xyz X@Or mail resumes to: Abacus Japan Business Services Inc.
