Description:
Responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Boiler Room. Maintain proper operating steam pressure at all times in the Hospital Boiler Room and the Ambulatory Services Pavilion boiler room. Maintain the safe operation of all boiler-related equipment in the Hospital Boiler Room and Ambulatory Surgical Pavilion Boiler Room. Perform rounds and readings to ensure all equipment is operating properly and maintain the boiler shift log at all times. Respond to boiler, clinical air, medical vacuum and medical gas alarms in the Ambulatory Surgical Pavilion. Perform preventive maintenance tasks and make repairs on all equipment as assigned.
