RESPONSIBILITIES: Operational knowledge of and understanding basic functions of blasting & painting equipmentMix paint; clean paint pots and spray gunsProvide quality control measures helping blaster/painters avoid, and/or repair sags, runs, holidays and oversprayProtect project equipment and components (cover, mask and etc.)Control correct millage of paint being appliedChoose correct rigging by load weightAssume a safe position during lifting operations and be aware of the position of othersComplete daily visual inspections and minor maintenance to ensure equipment is in proper working condition.Participate in daily JSEA planning discussionProper PPE selection and usageConduct behavioral based safety observationsUnderstands and uses Stop Work Authority QUALIFICATIONS: 3 or more years of prior blaster/painter experiencePossesses adequate reading, writing and communication skillsExperience using safe work habitsCandidates will be required to pass:Written Blaster/Painter assessmentHands-on paint testWhy work for Danos?Danos offers competitive wages, sustainable health benefits, 401K company match, and opportunities for employee development.About Us The Danos Difference Team up with Danos, and be a part of one of the safest and best-performing companies in the business.
