Biological Technician, St. Louis, MO: Conduct research, or assist in the conduct of research, incl collection of info & samples, i.e blood, water, soil, & animals. Use computers, computer-interfaced equipt, robotics, or high-tech industrial apps to perf work duties. Analyze experimental data & interpret results to write reports & summaries of findings. Keep detailed logs of all work-rel activities. Input data into d/bases. Isolate, ID & prep specimens for exam. Monitor lab work to ens compliance with set standards. Participate in the research, devel, or manufacturing of medicinal & pharma preparations. Conduct standardized bio, microbio, or biochem tests & lab analyses to eval quantity or quality of physical or chem substances in food or other products. Ensures all laboratory equipt & work areas are clean, sterile, & in proper working order. MS in Pharmacy, Biochem, Biotech, Molecular Biology, or related.
