The Position We are seeking an exceptional biostructural machine learning Scientist to join our team as a Senior Data Scientist and contribute to cutting: edge research in protein structure: based drug design, active learning and integration of multimodal data. As an expert in techniques within biostructural ML/AI and active learning, you will bring your expertise in using these models to enhance the efficiency and precision of our design pipelines and connecting the results to multi: omics data analyses. In this role, you will work within drug development projects in early research, supporting the development of new drug candidates and the initiation of new drug pipeline projects. This requires close collaboration with other research scientists in multidisciplinary teams and solving ambitious scientific goals. The position also requires close collaboration with our data science and machine learning colleagues across global sites and contributing to the onboarding and development of new computational drug design methods. Relationships The Biostructural machine learning scientist reports to the head of Machine Intelligence. Internal partners include data scientists, specialists, engineers, software developers, technology scouts and partnership developers, system engineers, designers, medical doctors, IT professionals, and others across the UK and other countries. External relationships include commercial and academic collaboration partners. Key Responsibilities: : Develop state: of: the: art models for generation, evaluation, and prioritization of novel drug candidates in a multi: objective context.Integrate active learning / Bayesian optimization tools to enhance the efficiency and precision of the design pipelines. : Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and execute experiments that support drug development/screening projects in early research.Stay current with the latest research and advancements in the field of structural bioinformatics,.
