We strive each day to better serve our customers and employees. Position Overview: Candidate will be primarily responsible for inputting time and material client billing. When not performing primary function, candidate will also be expected to answer and direct incoming phone calls using a multi-line phone system when needed. Other ad hoc assignments may be required. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, professional, and will be able to prioritize and complete multiple projects in a timely manner. This position is based out of our corporate office, so candidate will be working with field personnel on a regular basis. Responsibilities and Duties: Shows up on time and ready to complete work Follows directions of leadership and clarifies responsibilities if needed Respects self, co-workers, managers, company, other contractors, and clients Adaptable in methods used to complete task Willing to go the extra mile for the team Communicate effectively both written and verbal Conducts business in professional manner Demonstrate a positive can do attitude Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records Ensure invoicing input is timely and accurate Follow up with management on input problems and reconciliation issues Become a point of contact for billing questions from field operations for owned areas Constantly update job knowledge Qualifications: Education and Experience Must have strong Microsoft office skills excel, word, and outlook Must have 1-3 years direct experience in administrative function Must have previous experience in position using e-mail for correspondence with fellow employees and/or customers Previous experience answering outside phone lines in business environment is a plus Basic understanding of employee time and relation to time and material billings is a plus Construction Background a plus Personal Characteristics Ability to follow all safe work procedures Excellent communication skills Adaptable in methods used to complete task Willing to go the extra mile for the team Motivated to learn new skills and trades Follows directions of manager / lead / superintendent and clarifies responsibilities if needed Respects self, co-workers, managers, company, other contractors, and clients.
