DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepare and submit billing data to all 3rd party payers through our Billing System. Reconcile Data and correct errors for Batch Submission. Accurate Data Entry of all client/patient information. Post Payments from all 3rd party payers & Self Pay Clients, Follow-up on Missed Payments, also resolve any payment discrepancies. Access Insurance Portals and clearinghouse platform to pull or review EOBs Handle all balance calls from Clients & Front desk regarding Billing Inquiries Collect and Review referrals/Authorizations. Insurance Verification/Eligibility, update Billing Header. Process Rejected Claims from all platforms, correct for re-submission. Analyze and work Aging Accounts Receivable Reports. Resolve All Billing Issues and disputes by contacting insurance companies. Work with the entire CN Guidance team to apply the Plan-Do-Study-ACT continuous quality improvement approach to address systemic, organizational challenges Complete QI Training during onboarding and participate in QI refresher training as needed. Other duties as assigned. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 2+ years' experience as a medical biller or similar role. Solid Knowledge and understanding of Billing Concepts, ICD-10, Medical Terminology, Behavioral Health Billing, and Electronic Medical Records. Ability to read and work with EOBs. Must have the ability to multitask and manage time effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office -Excel and Word.
