SUMMARY Signing Bonus $1000.00 ; Signing bonus paid in two increments $500.00 after initial hire and $500.00 at the successful completion of the 6-month evaluation period. Work from home flexibility! ShelterCare's Behavioral Health Services (BHS) program of Eugene, OR is seeking to hire a Part-time Behavioral Health Therapist (QMHP) to provide treatment and support services to approximately 60-70 adults diagnosed with severe and persistent mental illness. The Behavioral Health program serves more than 150 clients, many of whom have experienced long-term or periodic homelessness and trauma. Consumers of the Behavioral Health program may be currently homeless, at risk of homelessness, or independently housed in temporary or permanent housing within the community. ShelterCare is considered a healthcare organization. Following state rule 333-019-XXXX, covered healthcare providers and healthcare staff must provide their employer: Proof of vaccination showing they are fully vaccinated; or documentation of a medical or religious exemption. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS The Therapist earns a competitive wage of $47,777.60 - $61,401.60 Annually, depending on experience. There is a higher starting rate for licensed clinicians. This is an exempt, salaried position. A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A THERAPIST (QMHP) As a QMHP, you will work as part of a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary team that strives to provide consumers with the best possible care. At least 50% of your time will be devoted to service delivery. You will provide and document direct, medically appropriate/necessary treatment services to adults diagnosed with mental health conditions. Services may include but are not limited to: individual therapy and groups, skills training, case management, consultation, and supportive counseling. You will act as clinical lead for the treatment of all assigned clients, assessing and delegating or completing all prescribed services within the scope of the clinician's skill set. You will ensure clinically-appropriate coordination of care with relevant natural supports and collateral providers, and provide intake, outreach, engagement, and termination of treatment services. You are also tasked with assisting in crisis intervention, documenting services in an electronic clinical record (CareLogic). QUALIFICATIONS Required Master's degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or a related field Must be eligible for certification as a Qualified Mental Health Professional QMHP certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire Basic computer skills Ability to drive agency vehicles Ability to successfully pass a DHS background check Preferred Prior case management and/or counseling experience is strongly preferred Experience working with individuals diagnosed with severe and persistent mental illness Experience with electronic health records or the ability to quickly learn complicated electronic systems Knowledge of Google apps, including Gmail, Calendar, and Drive.
