Position Overview: The Behavioral Health Technician 2 in our Drug and Alcohol program serves as the primary child care worker, for the persons served who reside in the residential drug and alcohol program, during the time that the Counselor Parents are off duty. The function of the BHT2 in D&A is to implement the behavioral and rehabilitation plans for each youth, as well as supervise and monitor the youth. Responsibilities: Serve as an appropriate role model and teacher for each youth. Assess and provide for the emotional and health needs of your assigned youth on a daily basis. Clear and concise documentation and communication. Assist with the facilitation of the Drug and Alcohol rehabilitation program.
