BEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN-In-Home Job Locations US-WA-MARYSVILLE ID 2024-XXXXXX Line of Business SpringHealth Behavioral Health and Integrated Care Position Type Part-Time Pay Min USD $21.00/Hr. Pay Max USD $25.00/Hr. Our Company SpringHealth Behavioral Health and Integrated Care Overview 4pm-6pm in-home 10-11 hours per weekAs an in-home behavioral technician, you will work under the supervision of a board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA) or a behavior specialist to provide one-on-one or group instruction and support to students with autism and/or behavioral health needs. You will implement evidence-based interventions based on the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to help students achieve their academic, social, and emotional goals. You will also collect and record data on student progress, communicate with teachers, and participate in ongoing training and professional development. Responsibilities Provide direct instruction and support to students with autism and/or behavioral health needs in various settings, such as classrooms, playgrounds, cafeterias, etc. Follow the individualized education plan (IEP) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) developed by the school. Use positive reinforcement and other ABA techniques to teach students new skills and reduce challenging behaviors. Collect and record data on student performance, behavior, and response to interventionReport any changes or concerns to the teacher and the behavior specialistCollaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff members to ensure consistency and continuity of careMaintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times Qualifications High School Diploma or GED, plus a minimum of six months prior work/volunteer experience providing individual instructions, preferably in a health care environment.
