Southland Nursing Center is hiring a CERTIFIED NURSE ASSISTANT (CNA) to work providing both short term rehabilitation and long-term care on the BAYLOR PLAN-WEEKEND PACKAGE . All new hires must be COVID-19 vaccinated or have a medical or religious accommodation before you start . Baylor Plan-Weekend Package Sign-On Bonus for CNA, Full-time: $3,000/Part-time: $1,500. Please be aware that Southland Nursing and Rehab has not posted salary information for this position other than the sign-on bonuses listed. Any rates other than the bonuses have been generated by Indeed and do not reflect the rates at Southland Nursing and Rehab. Position Summary: Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, the incumbent Certified Nurse Aide utilizes a general understanding of the principles of Nursing and basic physical assessment skills in the development of and implementation of individualized Nursing Care Plans to ensure that the needs of the customers are met. The Certified Nurse Aide performs various customer care activities and related nonprofessional services essential to caring for personal needs and comfort of customers. Requirements: The Certified Nurse Assistant must have successfully completed a State approved Certified Nursing Assistant Program. Experience is preferred in geriatric or rehabilitative Nursing. Baylor Plan-Weekend Package Perimeters: Applies only to Saturdays and Sundays. When an employee works 2 (two) 12-hr shifts, totaling 24 hrs., pay will be for 30 hrs. (Part Time) When an employee works 2 (two) 16-hr shifts, totaling 32 hrs., pay will be for 40 hrs. (Full-Time) Only 1 (one) weekend per quarter may be requested off, totaling 4 (four) weekends per year. Only 1 (one) holiday may be requested off per year. No shift differential pay.is offered. If an employee calls out for a shift during the pay period, payments for the entire pay period will be forfeited If you call out for more than 3 separate shifts, you will no longer be eligible to work on the plan/package.
