A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A BARTENDER General Duties and Responsibilities Assist with opening and closing duties, such as restocking the service bar. Keep the service bar area fully stocked and clean by wiping down surfaces and removing used glassware. Take orders, mix and serve drinks, and process payments during busy hours. Provide friendly and attentive service. Speak to members in a positive and polite way, and answer any questions that may be asked. Qualifications Experience working in casual and fine dining settings preferred. 21 years or older to be of legal age to handle and serve alcohol. Maintain a courteous and friendly personality and keep a professional and clean appearance. Capable of problem solving and using communication to handle a fast-paced environment in a calm and professional way. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A RESTAURANT BARTENDER 1 year of bartending experience We will train the right person! Do you have excellent verbal and written communication skills? Can you balance multiple tasks while keeping up in a fast-paced environment? Are you able to maintain a friendly and positive demeanor? Do you work well in a team setting?
