The ideal candidate will have previous familiarity tending bar in a fine dining establishment, with the flexibility to step in and handle a casual lunch setting or a banquet event. A friendly, outgoing, accommodating personality, with a proven track record in providing guest satisfaction is desirable. Able to handle high volume. Knowledge of wine is a necessity. Must be available to work flexible hours, AM or PM shifts, weekends, and holidays. $16.00 - $18.00 per hour plus service charges. Food Handler and Responsible Beverage Training cards will be required within 30 days of hire. Interviews will be set up with qualified candidates. Golf privileges/complimentary meal. Prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to members and guests. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned whether or not in this job description, at any time, by the Food & Beverage Director or designee. Supports the goals and objectives of the Company and in accordance with the Company's commitment to Total Customer Satisfaction, must have professional, service oriented attitude at all times. Follows safe work practices at all times. Must adhere to schedule, report to work on time, well groomed and wearing a clean uniform. Inspects the bar prior to opening to ensure that adequate supplies are available. Fills out requisition forms and requests additional supplies as necessary. Follows set-up procedures. Provides immediate attention to all members/guests upon seating. Mixes, prepares, and serves drinks according to the recipes approved by the Manager. Collects signed member checks/guest checks charges for drinks served. Removes dirty glassware and maintains a clean bar. Keeps ice bin filled. Addresses members/guests concerns and complaints in a timely and effective manner and reports them to the F&B Director. Performs clean up and closing duties as assigned by supervisor. Attends all beverage staff meetings as requested by the F&B Director or General Manager. OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned whether or not in this job description, at any time, by the F&B Director. Performs Food Server duties, when needed. Recites verbal specials from memory to members/guests. Carries food/beverage trays effectively. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES : This job has no supervisory responsibilities. QUALIFICATIONS : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to members, guests, or employees of the organization. The employee must be able to interact and communicate with all types of individuals and deal with difficult people and situations. Must have an outgoing personality; Possess excellent interpersonal, customer service and teamwork skills, maintain positive working relationships, promotes a cooperative, courteous, friendly, accommodating and respectful attitude towards members, guests, and colleagues. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form. Ability to deal with and solve problems involving several variables. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS : Valid California driver's license.
