Now hiring at Rounders Card Club for our coffee bar, “The Grind”! We’re seeking energetic and eager to learn individuals who would like to join our barista team. Service industry, customer service and prior barista experience is preferred but we will train.Position Available:● Barista - $10/hr +tipsBarista Responsibilities:● Greeting club members, informing about specials and new items, answering questions, and accepting orders and payments● Maintain a calm, level-headed demeanor in an energetic and fast-paced work environment● Preparing craft coffees and other beverages including alcohol infused menu items● Maintain coffee menu knowledge and communicate product information to customers and other staff members● Promoting coffee menu items and foods such as sandwiches and pastries● Cleaning and restocking work area and equipment● Maintain a clean and organized workspace● Learn about coffee, brewing methods, beverage recipes, storage, food prep, and presentation to improve quality● Update signage and displays to attract customers● Take inventory and replenish items on display, coolers, and storage areas● Communicating and working as a team● Adhering to all food safety regulations and quality controlsIdeal Candidates:● Experience in food and beverage preparation and serving preferred but not required● Passion for customer service and commitment to customer satisfaction required● Eagerness to learn and enthusiasm for teamwork● Understanding of professional presentation, attention to detail, consistency, and situational awareness● Ability to lift up to 40lbs and able to stand during full shift● Punctuality, respect for others, and common sense● Ability to maintain a calm, level-headed demeanor in a fast-paced and high volume work environment● Are comfortable working/completing tasks alone● A polite and outgoing personality● Attention to detail and excellent follow through● Must have a current food handlers permit from state of Texas and TABC CertificationSchedule:● Sunday - Saturday● 6hr Shifts● Afternoon Shift (Noon-6pm)● Evening Shift (6pm-Midnight)● Holidays● Must be available for weekends (Sat. and Sun.)● Needs a flexible schedulePay Frequency:● Bi-weekly● Tips (Daily)We look forward to hearing from you!
