At BABA Restaurant in Kimpton Charlotte Square Hotel, we have an exciting opening to join our team as a Bar Team Leader… We are looking for someone who can commit to Full-Time, across a minimum of 5 shifts per week. Being flexible would be a great plus! We are open 7 days a week 365 days a year and need people to work a range of shifts and days - this means we can offer great flexibility if required. At Kimpton we encourage our Team Members to Be Yourself and Lead Yourself! We will be there to support you each step of the way. We are paying £13.20 per hour (£27,456.00 per annum) plus service charge, all overtime is paid for. As the Bar Team Leader for our hugely popular BABA restaurant, you will be supporting our F&B Managers with the running of the BABA restaurant and bar, supporting the team, bringing your creativity to the bar and helping with guest requests (making personalised drink recommendations). You will also be involved with training of new team members in the bar and making sure everyone is trained to a high standard. To smash this role out of the park, the key skills & experience you’ll ideally already have are: Senior Bartender or Supervisor experience within a Hotel or Bar environment Passion for providing excellent guest service, you will have a high level of knowledge regarding birdtails, spirits, wines and beers to recommend to our guests Experience dealing with customer queries and complaints, you will be someone who is creative and loves to make our guests smile by going above and beyond for them Overall, you will be keen to get stuck in, showcase your skills and become a critical part of our F&B leadership team!
