We are seeking a capable and experienced Band 7 Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner to lead the Community Adult Learning Disabilities service team on the beautiful Island of Guernsey, in the Channel Islands. This opportunity is open to suitably qualified Health Professionals, with LD experience and appropriate statutory professional registration. The Service works with both children and adults approx 50/50 with learning disabilities in a variety of community based settings. You will be responsible for leading the implementation of Positive Behavioural Support Team. This includes conducting backssment of individual’s needs, developing Positive Behavioural Support plans and support for families and staff to implement a variety of positive behavioural interventions. The strategic priorities for this role include providing high quality functional behavioural backssments, improving and monitoring quality of life outcomes via key performance indicators and providing proactive early interventions. Please note; Guernsey has adopted the Af C banding system, but have applied their own salary scale. The Guernsey Band 7 salary range from 1st Jan is £52,932 to £69,605 plus an annual bonus of £1,605 higher penalty rates; 36 evening/Saturday and 72 Sunday/BH. Annual leave starts at 36 days up to 42 days with full credit for NHS service for annual leave and sick leave. The island of Guernsey is in the Channel Islands and has a population of 65,000.
