We are looking for a.The Biomedical Science team at Maxxima are currently recruiting a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist in Biochemistry to work in Bristol. We are looking for a biomedical scientist who can make a real difference in supporting the laboratory's service. Position: Biomedical Scientist Banding: 6 Location: Bristol Hours: Full-time - Monday to Friday 09:00 till 17:30, Support on Late shifts 11:30 till 20:00, Night shift support welcome 20:00 till 08:00 Duration: Temporary What will you be doing in this Biomedical Scientist role As a Biomedical Scientist in Biochemistry, you will be expected to be proficient in microtomy able to cut over 30 blocks and hour to a high standard; alongside having experience in embedding and staining. On a day to day basis you will be supporting the senior biomedical scientists in the delivery of the service and providing guidance to junior members of staff.
