The Biomedical Science team at Maxxima are currently recruiting a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist in Biochemistry to work in a busy NHS Hospital in Devon.The Biomedical Science team at Maxxima are currently recruiting a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist in Biochemistry to work in a busy NHS Hospital in Devon. We are looking for a biomedical scientist who can make a real difference in supporting the laboratory's service. Position: Biomedical Scientist Payrate: £24-30 per hour Banding: 6Location: Devon Hours: willing to do nights and weekends/bank holidays as needed Duration: Ongoing What will you be doing in this Biomedical Scientist role As a Biomedical Scientist in Biochemistry, you will be expected to be proficient in using analysers in Biochemistry automation. If you have additional experience in more manual or specialist techniques such as protein electrophoresis or HPLC that would be a plus. On a day to day basis you will be supporting the senior biomedical scientists in the delivery of the service and providing guidance to junior members of staff.
