The successful candidate will be required to work.The shop team at Maxxima are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Accuracy Checking shop Technician in Bristol. The successful candidate will be required to work full-time. This role is available to start ASAP; the starting pay rate for this job is up to £25 per hour. Position: Accuracy Checking shop Technician Banding: 5/6Location: Bristol Hours: 37.5Duration: Ongoing Typical duties include: - Completing the final accuracy check on all dispensed medications - Supervising other members of staff in the shop setting - Dispensing prescription medication and medical products to patients - Preparing prescriptions by counting pills, labelling bottles and compounding medications - Carry out administrative duties and keeping detailed records - Gather, organise and backss patient information, including electronic patient record - Ensure compliance by monitoring the prescription-filing process Essential skills: - GPHC Registered - Clinical Experience - Relevent UK experience We are unable to support or accept applications from candidates who are residents within the Red or Amber list of the Code of practice for the international recruitment of health and social care personnel in England, based on the World Health Organisation WHO Workforce Support and Safeguard List.
