Overview: This position is responsible for providing hospitable, courteous, and efficient service to customers. Duties include assisting customers with bakery purchases, maintaining cleanliness of the department, and assisting manager in coaching, mentoring, and leading staff to accomplish department and personal goals. In addition, this position is responsible for assisting in leading and maintaining the department in a manner that is consistent with the company's mission of excellence in service, selection, and quality. Day in the Life: Location: Primarily bakery service counter, sales floor and back office. What to Expect: We pride ourselves on providing Best in Class bakery offerings including our own chef-crafted specialty items as well as unique, local treats. You will gain expertise in creative merchandising, local product offerings, as well as maintaining a positive work environment for department staff and creating sensational shopping experiences for our customers. You will have the opportunity to ensure safety and sanitation policies and department presentation and quality expectations are met. In addition, you will assist the department manager in reviewing financial performance and identifying opportunities for financial and overall department service improvements. Qualifications: Qualified candidates have at least two years bakery or food service experience and the desire and ability to create meaningful and memorable moments for our customers and staff.
