Bagging Machine Operator (Bagger)

Description:
General description The Bagger is responsible for monitoring the bagger and making sure all rolls are sufficiently bagged and labelled. Key responsibilities Make sure the bagger is operating correctly and running without malfunctions; Operate fork trucks in a safe manner; Make sure that labels are on the roll and bags are sealed; Make sure that rolls are placed on the skids correctly; Make sure rolls are running on the conveyor belt correctly; Stage skids of finished rolls; Ensure that inspectors have tubes and tape when necessary; Replace A-frames onto the inspection frames when needed; Separate and move waste rolls to the bailing area; Separate and carry samples to the sample department; Communicate with the next and previous shift's operators; Perform the job safely in accordance with the JHA; Perform general housekeeping duties; Other duties as assigned. Skills required Ability to stand and walk for 12 hours daily Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. Excellent eyesight and the ability to distinguish patterns, colors, and shades Ability to perform detailed tasks with minimal errors Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Self-starter mentality and strong work ethic Team player Communication skills Basic computer and math skills Basic English reading, writing and speaking skills Experience Previous similar textile experience preferred Job Posted by ApplicantPro
