Seeking FAA Repair Station Maintenance Supervisor. Compensation commensurate with experience. The Maintenance Supervisor is directly responsible to the General Manager of Maintenance and provides daily direction to shop mechanics. The candidate will implement the GM/MRO's plan and schedule for aircraft maintenance. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Outstanding customer service skills, and an attention to detail. The ability to prioritize and work under pressure in a fast-paced work environment. Exceptional organizational skills to include project planning and scheduling. Ensure all work performed complies with applicable technical data, FAA regulations and company policies and procedures. Ensure maintenance facility is clean and shop equipment is in good working order. Assist the training of mechanics. Plan mechanic shift and on-call schedules and approve leave requests. Perform all the duties of an A&P Lead Mechanic as required. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES) FOR THIS POSITION FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate is required. FAA IA preferred. Minimum 4 years' experience as a Lead or Floor Inspector. Previous FAA Part 135, Part 121, or Part 145 experience required. CAMP/CMP tracking software experience preferred. Basic personal hand tools required. Ability to work independently with little supervision required. Ability to remain calm while working under pressure in a busy environment. Ability to maintain confidentiality related to sensitive company and employee information.
