What you will be doing! Independent Software is hiring a Availability Manager. Candidate will man a 24/7 watch center that monitors enterprise networks, printers, and other services within the contract’s scope of responsibility, report anomalies, engage on-site technicians or request support through the call-in process, and track/report progress, and author an After-Action Report Key Requirements: Serves as the contract’s 24/7 POC for contact/interface with customer leads. Troubleshoots, repairs, and tests computer workstations, servers, printers, peripherals, and teleconferencing equipment. Installs and configures computer workstations, servers, printers, peripherals, and teleconferencing equipment and associated cabling. Conducts sites surveys; assesses and documents current site configuration and user requirements. Support IAVA reporting as needed, and engage vendor partners to support Walk Out requests. Collect data and update databases create reports as required, to support operational updates. Provide daily update briefs. Participates in meetings with multiple contract, vendor partner, and customer leaders. Participates in outage coordination and other operational support activities as required. Engages leaders in global work centers to address operational concerns. Acts as tier one support to Call Manager and networks at varying levels to support field operations. Education and Experience: High School/GED with seven (7) years of experience. Equivalent education and experience: Associates degree and four (4) years of experience or Bachelors degree and two (2) years of experience 8570 certification Clearance Required: Must possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance to be considered for this role.
