Salary: $85,000 - 105,000/year The Project Manager is responsible for the planning, organizing and directing the completion of projects to ensure they are on time, on budget and within scope.Duties and responsibilities Project Documentation Obtain and read all contract documentation: proposals, bid drawings and specifications, contract, scope of work and construction schedule Create and manage the project schedule Manage the change order process Acquire a thorough understanding of the project requirements and objectives: contractual, financial and technical Project Communication: Facilitate internal project kick-off meeting Function as the focal point for internal and external project communication and documentation Coordinate with general contractor, construction manager, owner, subcontractors and other trades, as required Generate and/or respond to construction communication: RFIs, CO documents, warranty documentation, material hand off, punch lists, daily field reports and sign-off documentation Project Resources: Coordinate all in house activities: submittals, engineering, fabrication and installation, programming, commissioning, testing and training Coordinate with Installation Manager and Engineering Manger to schedule personnel Manage and monitor the labor expenditures of engineering and installation and communicate any issues that impact profitability Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent experience CTS (Certified Technical Specialist) preferred but not required. 3- 5 years AV industry experience. Experience with Crestron and Extron AV Systems The Ability to supervise and manage tasks and personnel to meet project objectives. Will possess a fundamental understanding of AV system functionality and installation process and techniques. Ability to trouble shoot and solve technical, personnel or other project related issues. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft project, Adobe Acrobat, and AutoCAD viewing or markup utilities. Powered by JazzHR
