YOUR SCHEDULE This auto repair position is full-time and typically works Monday through Friday , plus one Saturday each month . WHAT TO AN EXPECT AS AN AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN - MECHANIC In this Automotive Technician - Mechanic role, your passion lies in assisting customers in returning to the road safely. When a car repair order is received, you carefully examine it before conducting a thorough diagnostic inspection using scan tools and OEM software. You meticulously inspect the entire vehicle, diagnose, create repair procedures, and compile a list of required parts. Accurate repair quotes are generated using ALLDATA and Mitchell ProDemand software. Your exceptional mechanical aptitude helps you in diagnosing and resolving a wide range of issues. You relish working in a modern facility that invests in cutting-edge equipment, including AC machines. You produce high-quality work that customers can rely on, from transmission services to electrical problems. Safety is your top priority, and you adhere to all OSHA regulations, complete the necessary documentation, and verify that the vehicle is ready for use. You actively seek opportunities for ongoing training as a dedicated trade professional. You take pride in completing each job correctly on the first try! WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN AN AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN - MECHANIC High school diploma or equivalent Experience performing mechanical work Willingness to participate in ongoing training Valid driver's license 2+ years of automobile maintenance experience is preferred.
