Automotive Sales Representative Description and Duties: At Sunset Volkswagen, our sales team provides outstanding service and helpful advice to our valued clients, and we need one or more person to join our team. A successful automotive sales representative will be: customer service oriented - our number one priority is to provide exceptional customer service to every person every day eager to learn - great sales associates learn our products inside and out to help clients make informed decisions professional and approachable - successful salespeople are known for their smile and helpful, welcoming attitude a good listener - the best sales representatives listen to their clients, provide helpful advice, and answer all questions enthusiastic and persistent - you must always be looking for new ways to serve your clients' needs honest and trustworthy - no gimmicks or shady deals at Sunset Automotive Group - we have a great reputation for doing things the right way and that matters to us If you are looking forward to taking the next step in your career, and you think this sounds like the way you want to do business, then we are looking for you! Previous experience in new or used car sales is helpful, but not required. Come experience the difference at Sunset Volkswagen! Automotive Sales Associate Requirements: Attitude and Personality - Great auto sales representatives are approachable, knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. Confidence and an outgoing personality are helpful as well. Experience and Education - Previous automotive sales experience is preferred, but not required. We will train the right candidate. No specific education level is required, however you need to be willing and able to learn and grow. Schedule - We are generally closed evenings and Sundays to maintain work/life balance. Your schedule will vary somewhat so we have enough staff available to our clients between 9am and 7pm Monday through Thursday, 9am through 6pm Friday, and 9am through 5pm Saturday. Opportunities - Clients who come to the dealership to shop are distributed to our sales associates on a rotation - no racing to the lot or cut-throat competition in our team. Successful sales team members are also great at networking to find new clients, follow-up, keeping in touch with clients to answer questions, letting them know when new promotions are available, etc. Sunset Automotive Group Benefits Compensation - Pay is commission-based with a weekly draw to ensure our employees have a stable base income while maintaining the potential for very high earnings.
