Are you a hard-working, process-driven Painter searching for a new opportunity at a growing company? You might be a great fit for our team. Our painters perform a variety of tasks such as surface preparation, sanding down old paint, filling in holes, mixing paint colors, and painting vehicles. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with a production manager to collaborate on the most efficient list of paintable vehicles. Ideally, you have experience with a variety of paint surfaces and materials and are comfortable using hand and power tools to get the job done. If you're ready to get started, apply today! Responsibilities: • Leave the work area clean once the project has been completed• Erect scaffolding when required• Coat painted surfaces with primer or sealer• Get surfaces ready to be painted by sanding away old paint and filling holes and cracks with putty Qualifications: • Should have general knowledge of painting techniques and tools, but we are willing to provide training• Candidates should have strong time management, communication skills, and attention to detail• Preference for candidates with 2+ years work experience and completed apprenticeship, but not required• High school diploma or GED preferred• Candidates must be comfortable standing for long periods of time, and have physical strength and dexterity Compensation: $100,000 yearly About Company: C&L Autobody is a regional Multiple-Shop Organization (MSO) with 10 body shops throughout Morris, Sussex, Warren, Union, and Middlesex counties in Northern NJ. We also manage one of the largest towing fleets in the state.
