PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A TEMPORARY ROLE.This is a 1st shift Monday-Friday 6:30am-3pm need.JOB SUMMARY:Under direct supervision, set-up, start-up and monitor automated robotic packaging machines. Observe and respond to robotic work stoppage issues such as local cell failures or lack of materials; resolve issue and restart robotic automation using HMI control panel or local control pendant. Complete conductivity and pH tests for finished-goods products. Replenish materials as necessary in automated machines. Remove finished goods by pallet jack and generate pallet LPN documentation. Report major issues to Supervisor and/or Maintenance.ESSENTIAL DUTIES and/or RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Sets-up and operates industrial robotic packaging machines using automated systems for product identification, SBS solution application, bagging, boxing and palletizing.2. Enters commands to start robotic operation, monitors machines and HMI screens for malfunctions and/or error messages, being cognizant of all emergency stop buttons, light curtains and sensors within the automated machines.3. Identifies, operates and accesses proper sequences for robotic set-up and packaging line start up.4. Reviews daily production schedule with management to determine needed materials based on product type.5. Replenishes materials for packaging process, such as SBS solution, bags, tape, end-caps, interconnectors, boxes and as necessary.6. Trouble shoots, observes and responds to robotic work stoppage issues and restarts automated machine using HMI control panel. Notifies Supervisor and/or Maintenance to troubleshoot and correct equipment issues.7. Ensures proper pH and conductivity to specified ranges and records data on log. Notifies supervisor of any non-conformities.8. Maintains daily, weekly and monthly productivity goals set by production management.9. Documents product data information such as conductivity and pH testing on production logs, reports or summaries as well as any other record keeping activities as they pertain to products throughout shift.10. Follows all safety, quality, and lean manufacturing policies, processes or procedures including keeping work station and area clean in accordance with 5S principles.11. Informs Production Supervisor and/or Production Lead of any safety concerns that are found as well as any repetitive defects in products or machine malfunctions.12. Other duties as assigned.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITES:1. N/AMINIMUM EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:1. High school diploma or GED; and 1 year manufacturing experience, preferably with automated robotic equipment; or equivalent combination of education and experience; or six months Hydranautics manufacturing experience.The following are desirable:KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and/or ABILITIES:1. Basic to intermediate language skills, including verbal and written proficiency in English; ability to read work instructions in English.2. Basic computer skills to operate computer automated equipment; recognize operating boxes, symbols and colors on the automated control panel.3. Solid critical thinking skills to determine what to question, how to proceed and when to proceed in completing a task or requesting assistance.4. Work independently and foster a cooperative spirit within a large and/or small team while maintaining flexibility with changing priorities.5. Ability to work in a detailed-oriented atmosphere with accurate record-keeping. Outstanding follow-through to meet production requirements.6. Recognize numbers and millimeters and perform basic mathematical calculations with the aid of a basic hand-held calculator.7. Deal with standard and basic non-complex issues; intermediate problem-solving ability; carry out moderately complex verbal and written work instructions.The following are preferred:CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES:1. N/APHYSICAL DEMANDS and/or WORK ENVIRONMENT: (Typical physical demands and the work environment characteristics an employee must meet and encounter while performing the essential functions of the job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.)1. Must be able to distinguish green and red color without issues.2. Must be able stand/walk constantly up to 8 hours a day.3. Ability to frequently lift and carry items up to 45 pounds. Lifting requirement is approximately 30-40% of the shift at waist to shoulder height to lift elements onto inspection apparatus.4. Ability to routinely lift and carry items up to 50 pounds.5. Ability to frequently lift items overhead up to 45 pounds.6. Ability to twist and bend at the waist, squat, and climb stairs frequently up to 6 hours a day.7. Ability to push/pull mechanical lifting devices and pallet jacks with elements frequently up to 6 hours a day.8. Ability to grasp objects with a force up to 50 pounds.9. Ability to reach frequently up to 6 hours a day when loading elements on carts.10. Wrist deviation, and hand/wrist repetition is frequently required, up to 6 hours a day, when cleaning elements.11. Gross hand manipulation of light-moderate strength is required to grab elements.12. Fine hand manipulation of light-moderate strength is required to operate buttons on machines.13. Gross foot manipulation of light-moderate strength is required to operate foot pedals.14. Must be able to see/focus for close eye work (small figures), discriminate colors, and perceive depths.15. Must be able to speak/hear to fulfill verbal communications and respond to machine alarms/buzzers.16. Subject to periodic exposures to varying temperatures, occasional exposure to noise levels above 85 decibels, gas/fumes/mists, and chemicals or hazardous materials.17. Must be able to wear safety shoes, bump caps, safety glasses and any other protective PPE required for the position.18. Participation in daily exercise activities is expected.19.
