The AMHS (Automated Material Handling System) is an essential component of the factory. It manages the storage and transportation of wafers and reticles in a cleanroom environment. The Arizona AMHS team provides services to the Ocotillo campus, comprising of Fab 12, 22, 32, and 42, and is currently expanding to include Fab 52. Life at Intel link: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/jobs/life-at-intel.html As an Equipment Engineer, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Design, develop, test, and debug software for wafer and reticle storage and transportation Work with firmware, drivers, operating systems, database and storage platforms, firewalls and algorithms Partner with other IT services including Planforms, Networks, Middleware to optimize factory performance Integrate New Product Introductions into the factory environments Intel invests in our people and offers a complete and competitive package of benefits employees and their families through every stage of life. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship. Minimum skills and experience that will get you noticed: these are skills that are "must have", non-negotiable and all candidates must have to be consider for the job and each skill must be quantifiable by months or years of experience needed. Must have at least 12+ years experience in the semi-conductor industry Preferred skills and experience that will make you stand out : (these are skills that are "nice to have" that are negotiable and if they don't have them it's not a show stopper) Automated Material Handling Systems (AMHS) experience Factory Engineering Equipment experience in a fabrication environment Product lifecycle and mechanical design Experience with AutoCAD or similar drafting products. Experience with theoretical and practical aspects of Project Management and project management techniques/tools Experience with Design For Manufacturing (DFM), Design of Experiments (DOE) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
