Description: Audiologist needed for multi-specialty healthcare clinic in Layton, Utah. Hours: Full Time: 40 hours a week orPart-Time, 20-25 hours a week Responsibilities: Identify, test, diagnose, and manage disorders of human hearing, balance, and tinnitus; interpret test results of behavioral and objective measures for patients of all ages. Counsel patients about hearing health and the possible need for treatment/management. Assess the candidacy of persons with hearing loss for hearing aids and provide fitting, programming, and audiologic rehabilitation to ensure the best possible outcomes Prepares written reports of diagnostic test results and recommendations. Perform otoscopic examination of ear canals and ear drum, manage the removal of excessive cerumen, and make ear impressions. Counsel and educate patients and families/caregivers on the psychosocial adjustments of hearing loss. Collaborate with physicians for management of hearing and balance disorders. Expectations for Success: Graduate of an accredited Audiology educational program. Current licensure in Audiology by the State of Utah or eligibility for licensure in Utah required. Certification of Clinical Competency in Audiology from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association OR ABA Board Certification in Audiology preferred.
