The ideal candidate will be licensed in Missouri and possess additional licenses in other states. Knowledge of the FDCPA is preferred. Duties:Correctly prepare, appear timely, and properly handle court appearances.Draft, review, and file necessary motions during litigation.Prepare for trials/arbitrations, potentially requiring overnight stays in distant counties.Communicate with consumers, their employers, and their attorneys to resolve accounts/suits. Requirements:Licensed and in good standing in the State of Missouri to practice law.Additional licensing in other states (IL, KS, IA, NE, ID, CA, WA, OR, AK, HI, NV) is welcomed.Preferred: Litigation experience.Preferred: Experience with Creditors' Rights law.Preferred: Knowledge of the FDCPA. Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications:Admission to practice law in the State of Missouri. Skills:Strong litigation skills with the ability to handle court appearances effectively.Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documents and motions.Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, employers, and opposing attorneys.Ability to prepare thoroughly for trials and arbitrations, including potential travel.Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities. Representing creditors, this firm helps to create fair payment solutions for consumers.
