The ideal candidate will have strong mediation and trial experience, proficient in legal research and writing, and excellent interpersonal communication skills. The attorney will manage multiple cases, perform due diligence, market firm services, and actively engage in brand expansion.Duties:Mediation experienceTrial experienceResearching and analyzing complex legal issuesWriting memorandums, briefs, letters, and other documentsMarketing personal and firm services to prospective clientsPerforming discovery of electronically stored data and hard copies of informationPerforming due diligence in legal matters concerning contracts, agreements, and mergers and acquisitionsManaging a schedule for consults and closure to meet production/collection objectivesClosing consults within the firm's range of 30-50%Timely approval of invoices critical to business health on a monthly cycleEnsure support staff are fully utilized and productiveAccurately updating client information in the case management systemSharing work tasks with other attorneys and support staff when over-subscribedActively engaging in brand expansion through blogs, social media, and organization participationSeeking positive comments and reviews from successful client engagementsCommunicating and advising clientsPerforming other job-related duties as assignedRequirements:Juris Doctor degree from an American Bar Association-accredited law schoolAdmission (or eligibility for reciprocal admission) to the WA Bar4-6 years of experience as an attorneyExcellent writing and interpersonal skillsExcellent legal research skillsSkills:Professional attitude with discretionExcellent interpersonal communication skillsStrong organizational abilities and time management skillsMarketing and business development skillsProficiency in legal research and writingAbility to manage multiple cases effectivelyBenefits:Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance401(k) plan with company matchingUnlimited PTO for vacation/sick daysPaid federal holidaysPaid volunteer time off: up to 16 hours annually
