Job Description - Manufactures sufficient quantities of quality products at or below budgeted production costs in order to meet marketplace demand - Sets up equipment operation feed, speed and temperature - Follows established procedures for operating various conventional and/or CNC (computerized numerical control) manufacturing equipment for tasks such as cutting, punching, forming, drilling, tapping, turning, milling, and stamping to fabricate, form or shape manufactured parts, tools or parts assemblies from raw materials - Selects and measures raw materials and parts to specifications to prepare for production processing - Resolves issues related to the organization's production, machinery, processing and/or packaging operations - Responsibilities are within Manufacturing/Operations Function as a generalist or in a combination of Disciplines Position Summary: $19.25 +.80 Shift Differential • The Mezzanine Attendant is responsible for racking barrier and non-barrier tubing at optimum output and yield meeting or exceeding departmental goals and internal and external Customers’ expectations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Perform job functions in a safe manner at all times and to ensure the safety of coworkers. Work as a team member to ensure goals and objectives of the department are reached. Mezzanine Attendant must be able to support multiple racks as well as assigned racks when needed. Communicate effectively to relieve Operators and Mezzanine attendants when there are changes to production orders and quality concerns. Perform quality inspections and adhere to Standard Operating Conditions and Standard Operating Procedures to ensure correct formulations are being produced and labeled properly on racks. Must have the ability to trouble shoot winders (tape width, buildup, cores, and splices) and take appropriate corrective actions. Must control quality by monitoring the racks for various visual quality defects such as edge creases, voids, gels, scratches and all other visual characteristics. Must be able to ensure accurate label and weight of tubing. Properly identify material being produced on winders Perform all duties as directed by supervisor Qualifications Education: • High School Diploma or equivalent Requirements: • 0-3 years of experience • Requires basic reading, writing and math skills Other Requirements: • Computer knowledge and 1-2 years of Windows applications experience preferred • Flexibility within a high-performance work environment • Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment • Able to work without close supervision • Able to follow instructions and make decisions based on data obtained Disclaimer: This is not necessarily an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, skills, efforts, requirements, or working conditions associated with the job.
