Job Summary Come join our Waugh Kids Care team working with school-aged children. Regular staff and substitutes are needed to work with children ages 5-12 at established sites on our school campuses in Petaluma. We offer before and after school care Monday thru Friday during the school year, on most school holidays and during the Summer. Our hours of operation are 6:30-8:00 before school and 2:30-5:45 all weekdays with the exception of Wednesday early dismissal at 1:30 pm. We currently are looking for a qualified applicant who has completed 12 ECE units and holds an Associate Teacher Permit, granted by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. Responsibilities include helping with homework, arts & crafts, fitness activities, and general supervision of children. The applicant must be able to furnish a resume, professional references, a college transcript, and have a current copy of their permit available upon an interview with the Program Director. This is a part-time position August-June, with availability for more hours during the Waugh School District's holiday school closures and Summer program.
