Associate Software Engineer

Description:
Job Duties: Create automated tests for implemented features or tools that prevent bugs from being released. Write documentation describing how to run and maintain features or tools that have been developed. Perform code reviews and practice pair programming for peers on the engineering team. Analyze player facing features and determined needs in the communication layer between frontend and backend, then implement such communication. Work with design to create and implement software designs, through backend software development, for features in League of Legends. Work with our content teams to determine and implement tooling creation or improvements needed to help get content into the League of Legends store, loot, and missions experiences. Perform technical discovery for large features and tasks, that include prototyping, breaking down, and estimating the work. This role is based on Riot Games campus, telecommuting from within a commutable distance of the campus is permitted 40% of the week. Riot Games reserves the right to make future amendments to this arrangement, including adjusting to a fully remote model or eliminating the opportunity for telecommuting. Minimum Requirements: Bachelors degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), Computing and Financial Management or a related quantitative discipline Special Skills:(1) JavaScript(2) ReactJS(3) Python(4) Java(5) Groovy(6) SQL(7) Docker(8) Jenkins(9) AWS(10) Machine Learning tooling (numpy, scikit-learn, pandas, PyTorch, Tensorflow) Any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.
