Job Description: Under supervision to oversee, coordinate, and provide support for the Department of Labor Cyber Security Education Grant to ensure attainment of goals and objectives. This role will be responsible for oversight and coordination of daily activities of the program to include administration of grant operational processes in Northern and Central Utah, budgetary/fiscal compliance, and to serve as a liaison between grant partners and SUU. This role will serve on the Grant team with duties that include: collaboration with the communities of interest, development of outreach strategies, coordination and oversight of all professional and apprenticeship relationships; program planning, marketing, and communications; data collection and management; and fiscal strategizing, tracking, and measuring. This position will also include supervision of IT assets for Utah Subrecipients of the Dept. of Labor Grant, to include software support for the Subrecipients. Duties and Responsibilities: Develop a manual that documents the grant processes and outcomes. Collect and maintain assessment data for measuring and monitoring partnerships, apprenticeship factors, fiscal integrity, and outcomes of the program. Maintains compliance with all regulations to include DOL. Track budget expenditures, forecast expenses, manage overall budget, prepare quarterly and other financial reports. Manages and monitor project needs, invoicing, and system reporting requirements for the partners. Maintain records, files, and accounts, and assist in gathering information for development financial reports. Develop strategies, build, and monitor relationships with business partners, Department of Labor grant personnel, SUU SPARC personnel, SUU faculty, SUU staff to include Financial Aid and Student Services, subrecipient leadership, and other communities of interest. Schedule and attend Grant Leadership Team meetings, keep notes, and follow up on agenda items. Collaborate with COSE leadership and other University department in the development of a marketing and communication strategy for the Cyber Security apprenticeship program. Troubleshoot system needs and operational issues and collaborate with Grant Leadership Team and subrecipient leadership in resolution of such. Provide approved mentorship to cybersecurity apprentices. Other duties as assigned. Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelors degree required. Masters Degree Preferred. 5 Years experience preferred. Ability to problem solve and to work independently and in a team environment. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
