What You Will Get To Do: Review tax workpapers. Responsible for meeting client deliverable due dates. Develops and implements solutions to partnership tax allocation issues within the framework of our proprietary software. Interacts with internal fund accounting staff on an as-needed basis to provide tax accounting guidance. Assists in the maintenance and testing of our software, workpapers and procedures by analyzing changes in tax and industry requirements and suggests improvements. Performs research of relevant tax laws, regulations and rulings to determine the proper tax treatment of issues. Analyzes company financial statements. Manage and mentor a team What You Will Bring: Bachelor's or Master's degree in taxation or accounting - CPA/MBA a plus. A solid understanding of the accounting & tax treatments applicable to a wide variety of publicly & privately traded domestic & foreign financial instruments including equities, debt, forwards, futures, options, swaps & derivatives. 8+ years of recent partnership tax accounting experience, preferably in the area of investment partnerships. 4+ years of supervisory experience An above-average proficiency in the use of MS Excel as well as a working knowledge of the entire MS Office product suite. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and proven ability to meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of client service. Thank you for your interest in SS&C!
