Our law firm has a full-time Associate Attorney position available now and we’re looking for the right professional to join our team. You will have the opportunity to learn from senior associates and litigation associates on legal issues and will provide legal counsel to existing clients. You will be responsible for such areas of the Law as Real Estate Conveyance, Estate Planning, Personal Injury Litigation, Divorce, and Probate with the ability to specialize in an area of your choice. You’ll also be responsible for performing legal research, drafting documents and pleadings, handling Real Estate Closings, preparing Estate Plans, and keeping client files up to date. If you’ve successfully completed law school, passed the Massachusetts State Bar exam, and are seeking a full-time opportunity to practice law with plenty of room for growth, start your application today! Responsibilities: • Assist clients in determining a proper solution to legal conflicts and determine the best course of action• Organize and maintain files to ensure accuracy for other attorneys, paralegals, and staff • Perform legal research, prepare for and attend hearings or other legal proceedings, and give general counsel under the supervision of senior associate attorneys• Draft documents such as correspondence, pleadings, motions, briefs, affidavits, settlement agreements, and contracts to be used proceedings and contract negotiations• Communicate with senior associates, paralegals, and clients to ensure cases are handled efficiently Qualifications: • Candidates must have passed the bar exam• Active membership with the American Bar Association (ABA)• Has a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school• Effective communication skills and problem-solving skills are necessary to work with all levels of staff and clients• Prepared to learn from senior attorneys to meet our client needs and grow our client base Compensation: $75,000 - $180,000+ yearly About Company: Martino Law Group, LLC is a dynamic and fast-growing law firm that represents clients in Divorce and Family Law, Personal Injury, General Litigation, Probate, Estate Planning, and Real Estate Matters.
