The ideal candidate must be proactive, detail-oriented, and organized, with prior law firm experience. Experience in mergers and acquisitions, contracting, and general corporate matters is preferred.Duties:Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents related to mergers and acquisitions, contracts, and general corporate matters.Conduct legal research and analysis to support ongoing cases and transactions.Participate in client meetings and negotiations under the guidance of senior attorneys.Manage and maintain client files and documentation in compliance with firm standards.Assist in the preparation of legal briefs, memoranda, and presentations as needed.Requirements:2-6 years of experience in corporate/transactional law.A proactive, detail-oriented, and organized approach to work.Prior experience in a law firm setting is required.Strong academic background with a J.D. from an accredited law school.Eligible for waiver into Iowa Bar or willing to sit for the next Bar exam.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the Iowa Bar or eligibility for waiver into Iowa Bar.Skills:Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficient in legal research and analysis.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
