Summary This position is for the 2024/2025 school year starting in August 2024. Are you looking to gain experience as a teacher? Curious to learn more about Montessori? Looking for a small, family-like feel for your next position? Treehouse Montessori School (TMS) wants to talk with you! We are looking for support staff/assistant teachers to join the Treehouse Montessori School Staff. The position will support the planning, organizing, and implementation of the Montessori approach. Take advantage of this opportunity to learn and grow along with us!Part time and full time is available! This position is for the 2024/2025 school year starting in August 2024. Duties In this position, you will be supporting the co-leads and administration on Maintaining school, local, state and federal required ratios, regulations, rules, and requirements Tracking and recording milestones for each child Maintaining a beautiful and clean classroom environment that honors the independence of each child Participating in events, meetings, and continuing education Requirements Qualifications, Education, and Experience: Required PDIS Level 2 Continue education beyond current accolades Certified in CPR, First Aid, and Universal Precautions, Medication Administration Certification (within 2-weeks of employment) Clean Background check Nice To Haves Preferred Montessori experience Minimum of 1 year of experience working with groups of children Associates (or equivalent) or higher in Education or another area Benefits As a TMS employee, you will: Accrue PTO and illness leave Be provided with on-site and local off-site education Have mentorship in early childhood education and Montessori philosophy Fridays off! Possible other benefits to be determined at the time of hire.
