Assistant Summer Camp Supervisor

This is a part-time temporary, seasonal position. This Assistant Summer Camp Supervisor is responsible for the care, safety, protection and supervision of the camp environments, staff and participants. He/she is responsible for communicating with parents, guardians and other camp staff during and after camp hours of operation; the planning, preparation and organization of daily activities and site (set-up/clean-up) as well as all administrative duties of camp. *Please see attached for list of job duties Qualifications - Must be at least 21 years of age - Prior experience in a Summer Day Camp setting - A minimum of 60 credit hours of college courses at an accredited college or university - Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification prior to camp start date - Possess strong communication, organization and leadership skills; must be patient, enthusiastic, self-controlled and dependable - Ability to work collaboratively with others - Ability to work between 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Monday-Friday during camp season - Valid Michigan Driver's License, insurance, and dependable transportation.
