We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, contributing to our continued success in delivering high: quality homes. Position Overview: As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will play a vital role in supporting the Quantity Surveying team in various aspects of cost management and procurement. You will have the opportunity to work on exciting residential projects and gain valuable experience within a renowned national house builder. Location: North East, UK Salary: GBP25:35,00: per annum (depending one experience) Key Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation and submission of tender documents, budgets, and cost estimates. Support the Quantity Surveying team in conducting cost analysis and feasibility studies for upcoming projects. Assist in the procurement process, including obtaining quotes, negotiating prices, and selecting subcontractors and suppliers. Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered within budgetary constraints. Assist in the preparation of interim valuations, cost reports, and financial forecasts. Assist in the management of subcontractor accounts, including issuing payments and resolving disputes. Maintain accurate records of project costs and expenditures. Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field. Previous experience in a similar role within the construction industry is desirable but not essential.
