Role Overview: As an Assistant Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the expansion and execution of our construction projects. This position involves collaborating closely with the Project Manager to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to our high standards. You will be instrumental in coordinating project tasks, assisting with site organization, and ensuring effective communication between all parties involved. Responsibilities: Assist with the setup and organization of job sites, ensuring readiness for construction activities. Support the Project Manager in delegating tasks to crews, monitoring progress, and maintaining high productivity levels. Participate in regular project check-ins, helping address any delays or issues promptly. Assist in procuring materials and equipment, aiding in inventory management to meet project deadlines. Contribute to maintaining site safety, cleanliness, and security standards. Help cultivate and manage relationships with subcontractors and vendors, facilitating smooth project execution. Support quality control efforts by inspecting work and ensuring it meets Six Bricks' standards. Provide administrative support, including project status updates, to ensure effective communication within the team and with senior management. Assist in negotiating with subcontractors and vendors, aiming for competitive pricing and quality work. Skills: 3+ years of Experience in the United States construction or a related field, with an understanding of framing, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems. Strong organizational and project management skills, capable of assisting in managing multiple projects efficiently. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to support clear instructions and collaborate effectively with teams and external partners. Attention to detail, ensuring the quality of construction and finishes aligns with Six Bricks’ standards. Proactive problem-solving abilities, ready to address challenges and contribute to project success. Bilingual abilities are advantageous.
