Accessible via the Green Line E at Gilman Station. Less than a 15-minute commute from the Boston Area! Riverside Community Care is seeking an Assistant Program Director of Behavioral Health Outpatient Services. The Somerville Outpatient Center has approximately 40 employees and serves close to 1000 children, adolescents and adults. We provide individual, couples, family and group therapy within a highly collegial and multidisciplinary environment. Services are provided using a hybrid model in person and via telehealth.In this vital role, the Assistant Program Director of Behavioral Health Outpatient Services oversees, plans, administers, and supervises program management and development. The Assistant Program Director will: Work closely with the Program Director to plan, direct, and participate in the daily operation of the Outpatient Program. Ensure quality of care, appropriate staffing, and staff support. Supervise some clinical staff. Participate in the wider service system to ensure continuity of consumer care. Provide direct clinical services to a caseload of individuals, families and groups representing a cross-section of the clinic population. Provide support for essential duties and functions that are applicable and necessary during the Program Director's absence. Schedule : 40-hour full time. with the option of fully in-person or hybrid-days to be determined. Required Skills Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. Basic computer fluency, including Microsoft Office. Enthusiasm to learn and integrate technology into the work environment, including providing therapy via video conferencing. Experience providing services using video-conferencing platforms preferred. Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. Moderate to advanced computer fluency, including Microsoft Office. Flexibility and ability to pivot when needed. Comfortable with change and working in a fast-paced environment. Believes in creating an environment of continuous learning, mentoring/coaching staff to reach their fullest potential. Required Experience Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling or Social Work required Independent Licensure of LMHC or LICSW required Minimum of three years of experience working in a managerial/supervisory or administrative capacity in a similar mental health setting. Minimum of four years of clinical experience (or three years post-LMHC) with children, adolescents and/or adults with significant emotional and behavioral challenges.
