The Department of Management and Entrepreneurship in the Marthaand Spencer Love School of Business at Elon University in Elon, NCinvites applications for one tenure-track position in businessanalytics at the assistant professor level, starting in Fall 2024.This position will teach graduate and undergraduate courses inbusiness analytics (e.g., data mining, data visualization, machinelearning, and database management). Elon University espouses ateacher-scholar-mentor mission.Candidates are required to have earned a doctorate in BusinessAnalytics, Management Information Systems, Operations Research, ora closely related discipline before the start date from anAACSB-accredited business school or have taught as a full-timefaculty member at an AACSB-accredited business school for at least18 months. Candidates are required to have completed coursework orteaching in areas central to management information systems, suchas information management, machine learning, database management,and data visualization. Furthermore, the candidate must havesuccessfully conducted academic research in areas related tobusiness analytics, machine learning, or data visualization, asevidenced by peer-reviewed conference presentations orpublications.Elon is a dynamic private, co- educational, comprehensiveinstitution that is a national model for actively engaging facultyand students in teaching and learning in a liberal art basedresidential campus.
