Job Overview The Department of Romance and Arabic Languages and Literatures at the University of Cincinnati invites applicants for a non:tenure:track position at the rank of Assistant Professor Educator of Italian language and culture. This is a full:time, non:tenure:track, three to five:year appointment with benefits and opportunity for renewal and promotion(s). Responsibilities include teaching Italian at all levels and developing new Italian culture courses for a broad audience and the certificate in Italian Language and Culture. Experience leading a study abroad program in Italyis highly desirable. Essential FunctionsTypical duties include teaching 9:13 credit hours per semester and service. M.A. degree or higher in Italian is required. Appointment begins August 15, 2024. Native or near:native fluency in Italian is required.
