Each of our employees is committed to uphold our tradition of care, quality, and passion through food, and together, we foster an environment where we can all make contributions that matter-from our manufacturing plants to our office locations and everywhere in-between.How you will make contributions that matter... * Ability to assist and advise on machine operations as related to improving efficiency of the line. * Assure the type and quality of cheese being used matches the customer specifications, food safety & quality standards, and efficiency standards through product inspections. * Assist Line Lead with their daily responsibilities, including helping to coordinate production requirements for one production line. * Assure all necessary and correct supplies are available on the line before running the product. * Assure the correct cheese and amount is ready to cut before the next order is ready to run. * Minimize cheese waste, rewraps, and trim. * Neatly, accurately and legibly maintain all records and documentation. * Maintain communication with team members on the line, and on opposite shifts, to assure overrun usage and filling the order correctly, consistently, and completely. * Perform other duties as required by management.You are best suited for the role if you... * Able to perform and understand basic math; addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and fractions. * Experience in the food production preferred. * Possess leadership qualities and have a willingness to understand other areas of management. * Good verbal and written communication skills with team members and all necessary departments. * Able to read and understand production schedules and Product Specifications. * Working knowledge of all necessary equipment. * Able to use hand tools, including knives. * Good decision making and problem-solving skills. * Able to stand/walk ten hours each shift or as needed.We support and care for our employees by providing them with... * Development opportunities that enhance their career fulfillment. * Meaningful compensation & benefits that help them care for their families. * Opportunities to contribute to the community and enhance the lives of others through Saputo products.Hourly Rate: $22.76 with increases up to $23.26Saputo is among the top three cheese producers in the USA and one of the largest producers of extended shelf-life and cultured dairy products.
