Today, B & B is a world class modern processing facility recognized for quality products, integrity, and dependability.B & B Poultry is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in overseeing and cultivating results for the day-to-day plant operations. The successful candidate will work closely with the General Manager to meet production deadlines, exceed customer expectations, and ensure processes and systems are operating efficiently including equipment use and maintenance. B & B Poultry is seeking a loyal, dependable leader to proactively solve problems and guide & develop employees in a fast-paced environment. This position will build and strengthen relationships throughout the company and broader industry. Assistant General Manager Position Qualifications : Minimum of 3 years leadership/management experience, required Business operations experience and knowledge, essential Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel, required; Understanding of SQL Databases and system troubleshooting, desired Associate degree in business administration/related field or equivalent experience, preferred Experience in a poultry/meat/food production organization, a plus Food safety experience - knowledge of food safety standards & related industry regulations, including Safe Quality Foods (SQF) and Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Point (HACCP), desired General knowledge of industrial mechanical, refrigeration, electrical and facility maintenance systems, a plus.
