Assistant Ecologist Portsmouth We are looking for an Assistant Ecologist to join a medium sized multi: disciplinary company near Portsmouth. The company work in a range of sectors including residential, commercial, energy and education and work all across the South Coast. You will be working alongside Landscape Architects, Ecologists and Arboriculturalists in a sociable open office. The company offer a generous holiday allowance, training budgets, paid overtime and CIEEM memberships paid for. There will be plenty of training days internally and externally available. For this role, you will ideally have; A degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related field. Experience in conducting ecological surveys and backssments. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of relevant environmental legislation and regulations. Proficiency in using ecological survey equipment and software. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast: paced environment. Whilst working as an Assistant Ecologist, you will be; Conducting ecological surveys, backssments, record habitats accurately. Assisting in analysing ecological data collected from field surveys and delivering concise findings to our clients Working closely with the team of ecologists and other professionals, actively contributing to various projects Involved in environmental impact backssments, habitat management plans, and biodiversity conservation strategies Interested in this Assistant Ecologist vacancy?
