ADON Perks: Generous Bonuses Daily Pay Advance Option Available Growth Opportunities - DOUBLE your salary Health Benefits 401K ADON Summary: The primary responsibility of your job position is to assist with planning, organizing, developing, and directing the overall operation of our Nursing Service Department following the current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern long-term care and assisted living facilities . You are entrusted to ensure that the highest degree of quality care can be provided to our residents at all times . Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the nursing service department, as well as its programs and activities Develop, maintain , and periodically update written policies and procedures that govern the day-to-day functions of the nursing service department Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, charting, etc., as necessary Determine the staffing needs Recommend the number and level of nursing personnel to be employed Assist in calculating the number of direct nursing personnel care on duty each shift Ensure that all nursing assistants are enrolled in or have graduated from an approved training program Perform all other duties, as assigned Qualifications: Must have, as a minimum, one (1) year of experience as a supervisor in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related health care facility . Must have, as a minimum (6) months experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices. Current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in Colorado, CPR Certification Ability to pass a criminal background check as well as Colorado CAPS background check. COVID Vaccine Required or Valid Exemption.
